The nursery has been working hard as an Eco School for four years now and proud to have achieved two Green Flags to acknowledge the knowledge and understanding of the children in supporting a better environment for everyone.
Parents have played a big part in our Eco Schools journey by giving up their time to take part in a whole range of activities with the children including litter picks in the local community. We have also received donations of seeds and plants to grow in the nursery garden.
The nursery also has its own allotment within the Community Garden in Faifley which the children visit on a regular basis to look after their plants and vegetables.
Every year the children also take part in a range of fundraising initiatives such as Rag Bag and Mary Meals which teaches the children the importance of helping others less fortunate than themselves and being a responsible citizen.
